This year’s event proceeds will be distributed to groups and organizations that are assisting survivors of last year’s Sonoma County wildfires, with a youth focus in mind. The Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50 is collaborating with Columbia Distributing, Eagle Distributing and Morris Distributing to designate beneficiaries for this year’s event.

At this time, these groups have preliminarily identified the following organizations as a few of what we expect to be several beneficiaries of the Sonoma County Fire Relief Beer Event:

  • Redwood Empire Food Bank
  • Committee on the Shelterless (COTS)
  • Sonoma County YMCA
  • Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50 (funds will be disbursed by the club to local non-profit or charitable organizations that are providing assistance or services to youth affected by the fires). While event proceeds will be allocated after the event, the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50 has already invested funds to help fire survivors by providing:
    • $5,000 to Shoes 4 Kidz, which helped the organization buy $5,000 worth of new shoes for children whose homes were destroyed in the fires
    • Volunteers of the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50 came together to assemble bicycles, which were then given away to fire survivors whose homes were destroyed in the fires
